MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES
Oxford Prep incorporates the Theory of Multiple Intelligences as the foundation of our school’s philosophy. This theory states that each of us possess at least eight intelligences that characterize the way we learn. Utilizing this theory as an instructional approach increases retention, thereby, producing optimum academic success for our students. The goal is to create a school environment that focuses on the following premise: all children can learn, and all are gifted.
COLLEGIATE THEME
Each classroom at Oxford Preparatory Academy is named after a renowned university. Our professors have created a collegiate atmosphere that supports our school vision, where all students are introduced to the comprehensive benefits of attending a higher-learning institution.
SPECIALTY CLASSES
In addition to traditional school courses, all Oxford Prep students, starting in Kindergarten, enjoy a variety of specialty instruction. These classes include Science Lab, World Languages, Physical Education, Technology Lab, Taekwondo, as well as Visual and Performing Arts lessons such as Music Theory, Band, and Choir.
